Don’t forget that you’ll need a tool to get your hot dutch oven off of the open flame. Some people like to use gloves like these or a dutch oven lid lifterPersonally, I recommend both of these tools.

When you have a dutch oven full of hot yummy food they can be quite heavy. So avoid burning yourself by getting both a lifter and some gloves to keep yourself safe.
