Located in the Pacific Northwest I can’t think of a better starting point for exploration. Perhaps you want to explore the San Juan Islands and indulge in seafood. Or maybe a trip over the North Cascades Highway is more your style. Either way, you’re good to go with this awesome van.
2. 2019 Winnebago Revel Mercedes Sprinter
The 4×4 Winnebago Revel is a top of the line campervan. This thing is loaded and has everything a full-size RV has but in a small and nimble Sprinter Van.
These Revel’s were just recently released and have become very popular despite their hefty price tag of around 150k. The bed that raises and lowers with the push of a button to accommodate bikes and whatever else is my favorite feature.
3. White Cloud: Eurovan Camper
Who doesn’t like the classic pop-top VW Eurovan. What’s great about this van is how easy they are to drive. If you’re intimidated by driving the taller and bigger vans I can assure you this VW drives easy.
I love sleeping up top where you can see the stars and catch a cool mountain breeze.
4. Custom Adventure Camper Van That Feels Like Home
I just couldn’t get enough of the interior on this one. The build is top-notch and what I like most about it is that it feels like home. They did such a good job that you don’t even feel like you’re in a camper van.
The van also has a rooftop tent that can be deployed so you can have a true two-story experience.
This would be the perfect rig for exploring Utah’s Mighty 5 National Parks.
5. 2019 Hymer With Pop-Top
The pop-top on these gives you plenty of unique sleeping options. Choose the queen bed below or opt for the top. These are a great option if you’re traveling with kids.
Location: Los Angeles
6. “Little Sur” – 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
This elegantly simple yet unique build just screams west coast with its wood accents. This would be a perfect choice for cruising HWY 1.
Location: Ladera Ranch California
7. 2013 Leisure Travel Free Spirit SS
This beast of a camper van with its slide-out promises the ultimate in comfort. This loaded camper has everything you’d expect from a larger RV.
Location: Henderson, Nevada
8. 1967 Dodge A-108 Sportsman CampWagon
How cool is this! I would give anything to take this van out for a cruise. If you wanna turn heads and travel in classic style this should do it.
9. ‘Blue’ the Sprinter Van (2016 Mercedes Benz 4×4)
Take your ski vacation to the next level with this 4×4 Sprinter located in Aspen Colorado. You’ll have no excuse for missing first chair on that epic pow day. I even have a running list of ski areas that allow overnight camping that you can find here.
Location: Aspen, Colorado
10. 1984 Volkswagen Westfalia
Austin Texas is the perfect spot to start exploring with this classic VW Van. I love how clean and original the interior is. Well except for the electric coffee maker I suppose.
Location: Austin, Texas
11. Bluebird, the Adventure Rig!
Not exactly a van but I had to post it. What a unique and clever setup. I love what people are building these days.
Location: Tempe, Arizona
12. The Equinox (Off-Grid)
This fully loaded rig as everything you would need for exploring the mountains of Colorado. I’m really starting to like these rooftop tents for a little extra bed space.
13. DELTA – Ford E350 4×4 Sportsmobile
I love these burly Sportsmobiles. They will truly go anywhere. The Oregon coast is calling your name with plenty of room up top for a surfboard or two.
14. The Ambo
Having spent a good part of my career working out of one of these I’ve always thought they’d make for a good campervan. For me it would feel too much like work but for the rest of you it might be a fun alternative.
15. Betty! 1987 Volkswagen Westfalia Poptop Manual with kitchen!
Another classic that won’t do you wrong when exploring the amazing state of Montana. If you haven’t visited Montana it’s time you do.
